Enough with Obama already!

I cannot believe what I am about to write. Never in my wildest imagination did I think we would ever have a President like this. Granted, when we elected Obama President, we Americans knew he was rated as the most liberal Senator in the U.S. Senate.....(out of 100). I knew he was a liberal, but I never knew he would be this reckless, this embarrassing, this radical! I have tried to give him the benefit of the doubt over and over again, but these just aren't coincidences. This man will surely be the worst President in the history of this nation. He IS like Rush and Glenn Beck have said, trying to fundamentally transform this country into a big government, socialist regime. His party is following him off a cliff and I just can't believe it. Make no mistake, this guy is not a Bill Clinton or even a John Kerry Democrat. This guy has a problem with America. He doesn't like it! Start from the beginning...

1. Reverend Jeremiah Wright- I know he was a big issue during the campaign, but I am convinced that he is right in line with his ideology. Obama stayed in his Church for over 20 years. A pastor who says "God damn America" and many other awful things about this country. Wright is anti-American and he was Obama's mentor, someone he looked up to.

2. GM/Health Care/Student loans- This President obviously doesn't think the private sector can do anything right. Obama just takes over industries he thinks either aren't "fair" or in financial struggles and forces his will on them.

3. Foreign Policy- Is it too much to ask for a President to say good things about his country?!?! Obama goes all around the world and tells them that America is a derisive nation, that entertains the notion that China has asserted that the U.S. discriminates and violates human rights! CHINA! The country that kills people for disagreeing with leaders, that doesn't allow religion or free press.

4. Administration- We have had open communists in the Obama Administration! COMMUNISTS! People who look up to Mao Tse Tung as their role model. I mean it's truly unbelievable.

I have never heard the President talk about what makes America great, the founding fathers, the Constitution, the American Dream. It is truly troubling.

All these things aren't coincidences. The man doesn't like the current state of America and he is trying to transform the country. He is the most radical President America has ever had! I can't trust a single word Obama says. I can't wait for 2012, Obama has to go. He is destroying America and her legacy.

The Governor's Race

Before I start this, I want to say I like Sarah Palin. I voted for her and John McCain. However, Sarah Palin is nothing compared to Kay Bailey Hutchison and she is wrong for endorsing Rick Perry for Governor. In fact, no one would even know who she is, if it wasn't for John McCain picking her hoping she would draw more support from the Hillary Clinton supporters. Kay Bailey Hutchison is the highest ranking Republican woman in the United States Senate. While Sarah Palin was on the Wasilla City Council, Kay Bailey Hutchison was in the Senate working hard for Texas.

Let me pick apart what the Alaska Governor wrote to Texas women."While a bunch of politicians have gone to Washington, hat in hand, SEEKING A BAILOUT, Governor Perry has said we should stimulate the economy with tax cuts and maintain spending discipline."Riiiiight.....I think I also remember Governor Palin saying this, "But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up the economy– Helping the — Oh, it’s got to be about job creation too. Shoring up our economy and putting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americas. AAnd trade we’ve got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive scary thing. But 1 in 5 jobs being created in the trade sector today. We’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. ALl those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bailout is a part of that."

Hmmmmm...It sure sounds like Sarah Palin was for the bailout just like her maverick friend, John McCain. She doesn't even believe in the positions she's endorsing!!!!!!!!!!She also said, "Texas is the largest red state in the nation, and it has a strong, conservative governor."Ok, conservative, maybe. If your kind of conservatism is cutting education spending, deregulating tuition (which resulted in HUGE tuition hikes all across Texas making it harder for students and their parents in Texas), and cutting childrens' health care.

I STRONGLY disagree with "strong"! This Governor, Rick Perry, drew two independent candidates, one from his own cabinet and hobbled to the finish line winning 39% of the vote. The first two independent candidates for Governor since Sam Houston in 1845. I would define "strong" as getting 67% of the vote as Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison did. Ironically enough, Sarah Palin got the job of Governor going against the establishment in her own state winning the Republican primary the same way Kay will over Rick Perry. In conclusion, REAL TEXANS should not let some woman from Alaska pick the next Governor of Texas. Kay Bailey Hutchison is the best choice for Governor of Texas.

So, Kay is announcing for Governor on August 17th! Get excited. Move over Sarah, we have a real Republican woman who actually WANTS to be a Governor!

Obamacare

Ok, so last time I talked about a state issue. This time, I want to talk about nationalized health care. Health care is a touchy issue. I think it would be great if every American could have health care. On face value, the obvious thing you would think to do is be compassionate and give every American health care. However, this idea would be disastrous. The national debt is currently $11.5 TRILLION. This is unbelievable and insane! Obama's health care plan will cost $1 TRILLION over 10 years which is $230 billion a year. This is clearly insustainable. This President has spent more than ALL of the previous 43 Presidents COMBINED! Does anybody remember the words: BALANCED BUDGET!?!?!? That would be so nice. The next candidate who runs on having a balanced budget, that's who I'm going to vote for. The "rich" can't pay for this plan no matter how much they raise taxes. Government can't be the provider for the American people. We just CAN'T afford it.

We already have the BEST health care system in the world. Take this excerpt from Glenn Beck:

"Americans have a better survival rate for 13 of the 16 most common cancers than Europe. Take prostate cancer: 91.9 percent of men live through it, versus 73.7 percent in France and just 51.1 percent in Britain.
Or that every year Britain's National Health Service cancels about 100,000 operations. Think of it this way: When you're counting on a procedure that means life or death, you don't want to have some bureaucratic bonehead who's only counting dollars and cents. And you certainly don't want to be standing in a long line, like the one million Brits currently waiting to be admitted to a hospital and another 200,000 just hoping to get on a waiting list.
We get annoyed when it takes 45 minutes to see the doctor — at least we get to see one!
And are we really going to listen to and follow in the footsteps of Europe, the place that when it gets a little hotter than usual — like it did in August of 2003 — they have 37,000 people die? Statistics show it's even worse in Canada, where 800,000 of their 33 million citizens are on waiting lists for more than 18 weeks"

So, WHY would we want to become like Europe?!?! So, this is just a test I go by.....Whatever France does, we should do the opposite. Massachusetts is one state in the U.S. that has universal health care. It's almost bankrupt. California is also thinking about universal health care....Obama might have to BAIL OUT California.

There are other ways to reform health care like minimizing malpractice suits with doctors which would lower health care costs substantially. The system isn't perfect, but it's much better than anything Europe has to offer. That is why a lot of their citizens come to the States for surgeries.

Providing health care for every American is a "noble" idea, but reality says NO!

Abortion and the Texas Governor's Race

This is my first post and it will be a doosy. I am sick and tired about hearing about how Rick Perry is more "pro-life" than Kay Bailey Hutchison. Rick Perry has been claiming to be the most "pro-life" Governor in the history of Texas. Does anyone know what Perry has done for the pro-life movement? Anyone? Well, I can tell you. He put forth a plan (that failed in the Texas Legislature) that gives Texans the option to get a license plate on their car that says "Choose Life". How pathetic is that? Just think, a girl is headed to Planned Parenthood to get an abortion and sees a license plate and she turns to her boyfriend and says, "You know what, I'm going to listen to that license plate." Come on Texas, it's absurd!

Ok, let's dissect this together. The Texas Governor or any Governor of ANY state can have NO impact on the abortion debate. Abortion is a federal issue that has been decided by the Supreme Court. So, what would happen with the abortion issue if Kay or Rick was Governor. The answer is nothing would happen. NOTHING! The Governor can do NOTHING about abortion! It would be like me running for City Council and you wanting to know my position on the Iraq War. A City Councilman can do nothing about the Iraq War!

What should we be asking Rick Perry and Kay Bailey Hutchison about? Maybe things they can actually HAVE an effect on. Like state education, college tuition, health care, toll roads, the Trans Texas Corridor, property taxes, and what leadership they can provide in Texas.

Just to reinforce my point, Kay is in a position right now where she could potentially make an impact on abortion, the United States Senate. Why don't we take a look at her record courtesy of ontheissues.org (great web site).

Voted YES on defining unborn child as eligible for SCHIP. (Mar 2008)
Voted YES on prohibiting minors crossing state lines for abortion. (Mar 2008)
Voted YES on barring HHS grants to organizations that perform abortions. (Oct 2007)
Voted YES on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions. (Jul 2006)
Voted NO on $100M to reduce teen pregnancy by education & contraceptives. (Mar 2005)
Voted YES on criminal penalty for harming unborn fetus during other crime. (Mar 2004)
Voted YES on banning partial birth abortions except for maternal life. (Mar 2003)
Voted YES on maintaining ban on Military Base Abortions. (Jun 2000)
Voted YES on banning partial birth abortions. (Oct 1999)
Voted YES on banning human cloning. (Feb 1998)
Rated 7% by NARAL, indicating a pro-life voting record. (Dec 2003)

Let's see, that looks pretty pro-life to me! In fact, she has done WAY more than Rick Perry ever has on defending the lives of the unborn. So, wise up Texas. Vote on issues that MATTER in a Governor's race.
